We collect the information you enter into our application and any information you send us directly.

• Contact details: name, email address and phone number
• Driver details: date of birth, driver’s licence province, class and number, and driving experience
• Vehicle details: VIN, year, make, model, usage and ownership status
• Address details: residential address and where the vehicle is parked overnight
• Application activity: pages visited within the application and status changes

How we use your information

We use your information to prepare an estimate, process your insurance application, communicate with you about it, verify payments, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations as an insurance intermediary.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information with insurers and underwriting partners as necessary to process your application, and with service providers who host our systems or process payments on our behalf. We may disclose information where required by law.

How we protect it

Your data is stored in access-controlled Canadian-market cloud infrastructure with row-level security so that records are only visible to you and to authorized PrimeRoad staff. Sensitive identifiers such as driver’s licence numbers are masked in our interfaces wherever full values are not required.

Retention

We keep application records for as long as needed to service your policy and to satisfy legal, regulatory and audit requirements. Abandoned applications are removed on a scheduled basis.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements. Contact us and we will respond within the timelines required by applicable Canadian privacy legislation.
